Paul brings to BetterThanFiction 25 years of experience in print journalism. Formerly a special projects reporter and editor at The Wall Street Journal, he now supervises investigative articles for BusinessWeek magazine and BusinessWeek.com. In 2008 and 2009, his work has earned awards from the Overseas Press Club, Investigative Reporters & Editors, and the Society for Professional Journalists. Paul has written two critically acclaimed books: American Islam: The Struggle for the Soul of a Religion, which was named to three Best Books of 2007 lists, and The Good Black: A True Story of Race in America. He has degrees in law and history from Harvard, but his most salient qualification is that he is married to BTF Director and Producer Julie Cohen. They live in Brooklyn with Beau the dachshund.
